Conflict Preparedness and Protection (CPP) Programme

Key Objectives

  • Provide an overview of the context in the relevant conflict environments where Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) is present and identify needs related to civilian protection from explosive weapons.

  • Review the activities, methodologies, approaches, messages, materials, and media that NPA Department for Mine Action and Disarmament has developed and deployed as part of its core CPP programming in Gaza and Syria.

  • Assess and evaluate the impact of NPA’s CPP activities and qualify to what extent they meet the identified protection needs of target beneficiaries.

  • Provide feedback and recommendations on how NPA might further develop and improve its existing CPP programming concerning project/activity design, quality management, information management, monitoring and evaluation, and measuring impact and results over time.
