the project.
We used Qualitative Comparative Analysis (QCA) and gender- and diversity-sensitive monitoring and evaluation of mine action to investigate the complex linkages between the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) agenda’s pillars, Youth, Peace, and Security (YPS) agenda’s pillars, and gender mainstreaming in Explosive Ordnance Risk Reduction.
QCA's rigorous methodology ensured that research outcomes were applicable across diverse contexts, enabling the identification of challenges, best practices, and lessons learned.
Evidence-based recommendations to strengthen the synergy between the WPS and YPS agendas and gender mainstreaming in EORR at national, regional, and international level provided GICHD with a comprehensive understanding of how gender mainstreaming in EORR can enhance WPS and YPS initiatives.
