the project.
The JRNY Consulting team supported Black Thrive and the South-East London Integrated Care Board in capturing reflections, learning, and actionable insights from a community-driven project aimed at improving mental health support for Black and mixed heritage children across six London boroughs.
Grounded in our commitment to equity and culturally responsive learning, we provided strategic recommendations to enhance mental health interventions, shape school policies on anti-racism and trauma-informed approaches, and strengthen community engagement and parental involvement.
Recognising that systemic change requires intersectional and locally led solutions, we prioritised approaches that challenge conventional frameworks and amplify the voices of those most affected.
Our adaptability and responsiveness ensured that Black Thrive and its partners could continuously evolve their initiatives and embed sustainable strategies that create meaningful, long-term impact for Black and mixed heritage children, their families, and their schools in South East London and beyond.
